East Union has resumed in person services on Sunday mornings with services starting at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday school for children and adults to follow. CHOW (Church Happenings on Wednesdays) will take place at the church from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month starting on November 3 through May 4. Check with leaders of MYF, Jr. MYF, Venture Club, and other small groups for details about upcoming events and activities.

Mennonite Women will meet in the fellowship hall Tuesday, October 5. Come bring your sack lunch and spend the day knotting and/or quilting. Our meeting will be at 11:30 with Wanda Yoder leading the devotional. Project is
cash for CommUnity (Crisis Services and Food Bank in Iowa City). Wearing masks is recommended.
Fall Frolic October 6 – 5:30 – 7:30 East Union folks are invited to a Wednesday night “frolic” at Doyle & Janet Geyer’s – 4726 Black Hawk Ave SW in Parnell to make apple cider. We will plan to start gathering at 5:30 p.m. or as soon as you can join us. Fun for all ages with outdoor games, food, and fellowship! A light meal of hotdogs, chips, s’mores and bars will be available to roast at the bonfire. We recommend bringing masks along to use when going inside for the bathrooms. Anyone with apples please bring them along or let Janet & Doyle know where to pick them up ahead of time. There will be instructions for parking when you arrive with special parking for those who need to park closer to the activities.
