Guest/Host Night Or Noon

  • What is guest-host night or noon?
    • It is a designated Sunday (traditionally a Sunday evening) where people in the church are invited to someone’s house for a light meal and a few hours together.  Sometimes they play games; sometimes they visit.  It is a fun time getting to know each other better.
    • You decide if you want to participate.  We hope you do!  You must sign up to be included, but all, including children, are invited.
  • When is it?
    • September 11, at a time to be arranged by your host
  • How do we get involved?
    • A sign-up form has been placed in your mailbox and there are extras on the table at the back of the sanctuary.
    • You indicate on the form if you want to be a host or a guest (don’t feel bad if you are unable to host!  We cannot all be hosts, and you can take your turn another time!)
    • You indicate if you will be able to do the noon meal or evening meal
    • You indicate how many people you can accommodate as a host or how many people from your family will attend as guests
    • Place your form in the basket at the back of the church
    • A committee will randomly assign guests to hosts, keeping in mind the number that can be accommodated
    • You will be notified who your guests are or who your host is
